It was found that the workshops: improved understanding of western and traditional leadership and governance structures; identified gaps of under-representation within the structures; strengthened the governance and leadership structures of the communities involved; raised the standard and quality of community engagement by Government; and increased and strengthened community participation and engagement with Government.
